Master Dattaram, a versatile actor and also an humble, polite, hard working and down to earth personality dominated the stage during sixtees. He performed the role of cchatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in 'Raygadala Jeva Jaag Yete' which was a very famous drama produced by The Goa Hindu association and directed by Master Dattaram himself. He had also directed 'Sangeet Matsyagandha' where he played a role of Devavrat and Bhishma. In addition to The Goa Hindu Associaiton, he performed several stage shows under the banner Mumbai Marathi Sahitya Sangh, Lalit Kala Darsha etc .
